Welcome back!
My last blog was in German. I told you about our family vacation in Binz. There is plenty to do there. Binz is the biggest seaside city in Rügen, the biggest German island in the Baltic Sea. We visited the Natural Heritage Centre and polished our own Baltic Amber stones. To know more about this adventure, click here.
Today I have a very special guest: the Tooth Fairy. She wants to tell you about my visit to her castle! Are you ready?
Thank you, Joey. Many people think that Joey only dreamed of his visit to my castle. But it is not so. Joey isn’t my first visitor. His dad, his grandpa, and many kids from around the world have visited my castle. However, I have a trick to make them believe it was just a dream.
The day Joey visited me, I was expecting him. Joey already told you about the Dotted Map Room located on the second floor. My glassy and playful frog, Vitric, lives there. Vitric helps me to find the addresses of all the children who lost a tooth. On the Dotted Map are two different types of antennas. The silver ones are for the kids who lose their teeth on time. The golden ones are for “late teether,” like Joey. These kids are eight years old or older and still have their “baby teeth.” There is nothing wrong with that. You don’t need to worry or be ashamed about it. I will explain to you why. There are two types of teeth. I am sure you didn’t know that. The adventurous teeth come out on time. They get bored inside the gums and want to see the world. These teeth want attention and will tickle your cheeks until you smile. The shy teeth need extra time to come out. Those “late teeth” are encouraged by the others to come out and join them. When one of them is ready to come out, a golden antenna glows on the map. Vitric then blows a colorful, sparkling bubble with the name of the children written in golden letters. This bubble also plays a special tune. Every time one of the shy teeth comes out, it’s a big celebration in the castle. Joey even flew inside his bubble. A playful trick from Vitric. If you remember the story, the bubbles were dancing as we moved to the Garden of Treasures on the third floor.
We went up to the Boarding Room. Outside the castle was the Shooting Star Express. When Joey saw it, his chin almost hit the floor. I explained to him the safety rules and off we went. Suddenly, we were in a very dangerous Solar Storm. The Shooting Star Express began crashing, rolling, spinning, and shaking. We fell off our seats and were floating in outer space. Joey hit his head. The Safety Bubble on his chair was activated. He was safe inside it. They flew through the ceiling of his house. The Safety Bubble popped over Joey’s bed. He woke up wrapped in his blanket on the floor.
His friends didn’t believe him. What do you think?
Thanks, Tooth Fairy, for that amazing visit to your castle.
I gotta go now! Need to get ready for soccer practice.
In my next blog, I will tell you about our family visit to Puerto Rico.
Remember to brush your teeth and keep them clean for the Tooth Fairy.
Joey Paco
